Sponsorship Program for Horses

Affected by Covid-19 Circumstances

A MESSAGE FROM WITTE STABLES

Everyone at this time is facing challenges regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic. Many businesses have shut down, however, in the equine industry we have living beings in our care that require feed, hay, farrier and veterinary care. There are many hurdles in front of us, and hopefully we will be able to handle what lies ahead. Our horses in training or on board are covered by their owners cost.

However, our lesson/academy/camp horses are now out of work. There is no unemployment check for these priceless teachers.

We have set up a special portal to allow our friends, family and lesson program participants to help during this crisis. No gift is too small, and all funds will be earmarked solely for the purpose of sustaining our lesson horses.

We will look forward to opening our doors to our camps and lesson families, but we need to survive this challenge.

Teachers come in all forms! They provide us with the opportunity to better our skills and ourselves. They are patient, kind, hardworking and forgiving. Under normal circumstances they also earn their keep.

In an effort to be part of “flattening the curve” Witte Stables make the decision to suspend its lesson and camp programs. In doing so, they are out of work, but the costs associated with their upkeep remain unchanged.

We have created a temporary sponsorship program for the benefit of these loyal horses. We thank you for your kind consideration and pray for everyone’s health and safety.
